It is a centralized data base, capable of linking several grinders into one data base. All roll data and roll grinding information will be stored on a server. The data base can include the following information or have the following features:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 all roll measurements of all rolls<br>\u2022 grinding programs<br>\u2022 process follow-up data for each roll and grinder<br>\u2022 follow up for the complete service work<br>\u2022 work orders<br>\u2022 messaging<br>\u2022 data base is open for customer\u2019s own applications<br>\u2022 communication through customer\u2019s data network<br>\u2022 supervisors etc. can access the data base e.g. with Internet Explorer or Netscape<br>\u2022 measurement reports can be exported as pdf files<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The use of <strong>RollServer\u2122<\/strong> standardizes and optimizes grinding methods and processes. The system can be configured for new views, tables and functions and it can be linked to another systems via standard interfaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The accessing rights into the <strong>RollServer\u2122<\/strong> can be configurated within the customer\u2019s mill as required. Production, supervisors and administration can create, amend and follow-up the work orders and grinding- as well roll history either via separate tailor made applications ( options ) or via standard web browsers ( e.g. Internet Explorer or Netscape).
